Singapore - 1 November 2019 - The Housing & Development Board (HDB) awarded a contract to Mitsubishi Elevator (Singapore) on 3^rd September 2019 to supply lifts to public housing estates. The contract falls under the HDB 29^th term contract for the Supply, Delivery, Installation and Maintenance of lifts for Three-Year Period.

Through this project, we are committed to providing safe, reliable and comfortable rides for every resident through our quality and reliable lifts installed in public housing estates,” said Ms. Kaori Takahashi, the Managing Director of Mitsubishi Elevator (Singapore).

The lifts will be installed in some public housing estates across the island. Mitsubishi Elevator (Singapore) has been supplying lifts to HDB since 1999, and this award represents the fourth time that Mitsubishi Elevator (Singapore) has won the HDB contract. Approximately 10% of all public estates are using Mitsubishi lifts.

The new Mitsubishi lifts feature various speeds, including 1m per sec to 3m per sec. Equipped with energy saving features, the modern Mitsubishi lifts promise performance, reliability, safety and quality for the residents.
