Position: Engineer
Department: Field Service
Reporting to: Section Manager
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and organize the team’s attendance, work schedules, and assignments to ensure smooth operations.
- Liaise with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers to effectively negotiate deadlines and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Evaluate the performance of subcontractors to ensure quality standards and adherence to deadlines.
- Provide technical support for field operations, particularly assisting with repair work as needed.
- Maintain clear communication with customers regarding operational needs, inquiries, and feedback.
- Assess and monitor the competency and performance levels of technicians to ensure high-quality service.
- Provide administrative support for both internal and external tasks as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirement
- Candidates must hold a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of work experience in the lift and escalator industry.
- Proven strong technical skills, with hands-on experience in the field.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Customer-oriented with excellent interpersonal and public relations skills.
- Able to lead a team or work independently, depending on the situation.
- Resourceful, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
