Position: Assistant Manager, HR

Job Responsibilities
- Manage the full spectrum of operational HR functions including HR policy review, recruitment and retention, employee compensation and benefits management, staff engagement activities, employment contract matters, government related claims, government related surveys, work pass processes and employee relations/welfare etc.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain staff, manage the full hiring process, including job postings, screening resumes, conduct interviews, selection of candidates, job offers.
- Resolve Workplace Conflicts, staff grievance, disciplinary issues, and termination.
- Manage employee relations issues and address employee concerns and provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related issues.
- Prepare market data for benchmarking exercise by drawing relevant data from reliable third-party remuneration surveys of relevant industries, and make appropriate recommendations and solutions to bridge gaps, if there are any
- Responsible for handling end-to-end annual appraisal exercise (ie. Launching of annual appraisal, compiling of appraisal ratings, approval of Annual Increment and Variable Bonus payout).
- Support the administration and processing of all salary related payments, including salary adjustments, bonus and annual increment
- Responsible for providing timely and accurate management reports.
- Responsible for negotiation of yearly renewal of company insurance policies.
- Responsible for monthly payroll checking.
- Negotiation with Union on renewal of Collective Agreement.
- Provide support for company events.
- Assist in HR project and initiatives.
- Handling all internal and external audits.
- Support Head of Department in the management of all HR related matters.
- Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Degree/graduate diploma in HR Management /Social Sciences
- Minimum 10 years of experience with minimum 5 years in supervising a team of 2-3 staff
- Conversant with the Ministry of Manpower rules and regulations
- Good user knowledge of MS Office suite
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good coordination and project management skills
- Able to commence within short notice
