Distribution Of Care Pack 2024
On 18 January, 2024, the Lions Befrienders Service Association (Singapore) (“LBSA”) established in 1995 is a voluntary welfare organisation dedicated to providing holistic care and support to help seniors age healthily in place with community participation, enabling them to enjoy purposeful and meaningful lives. Through the active involvement of some 1,500 regular volunteers, LBSA engages more than 7,800 seniors via a spectrum of integrated eldercare services catering to their social, emotional, mental, physical and spiritual needs. LBSA currently operates 10 Active Ageing Centres, two Community Case Management Services regions (East & West), two Senior Group Homes, Home Personal Care services, as well as a Befriending arm that reaches out to socially isolated seniors. Collaborated with the aim of distributing care packs to needy households residing in rental flats along Bendemeer Road. These care packs were thoughtfully assembled with daily essentials for families in need. A total of 100 care packs, each containing $30 worth of essential items and a $10 NTUC voucher, were distributed to each household. Additionally, the staff generously donated extra items to further support this initiative!

Children’s Wishing Well 2023
On 20 December 2023, a collaboration with Children’s Wishing Well a registered charity founded in 2002, the only charity oganisation in Singapore Focused on the holistic education of children and youth from disadvantaged backgrounds coming from low-income families, programmes supporting their current educational and daily living needs, as well as equip them with skills for their future.
Waterway Clean Up @ Kallang Riverside Park 2023
On September 23, 2023, the Waterways Watch Society (WWS), an independent volunteer group, collaborated to foster appreciation and promote conservation of our environment, particularly the waterways in Singapore. WWS, a non-governmental and non-profit environmental organization, was established in 1998.
Have you ever wondered how our beaches would appear without the diligent efforts of cleaners? Participate in a beach/coastal clean-up program and join us in caring for our shores. Through this experience, you’ll gain valuable insights into the consequences of ocean pollution and its impact on our marine environment, wildlife, and even us, humans. Let’s work together to protect our precious coastal ecosystems!
NTUC Health Nursing Home
On 16 June 2023, our Managing Director Mr. Hideyuki Mori together with 20 staff volunteers visited NTUC Health Co-operative Limited Nursing Home @ Chai Chee to provide refreshments and goodie bags to 30 elderly folks living in the nursing home.
The elderly folks’ usual mundane afternoon was filled with fun and laughter as we sang Karaoke and played games with them.
We hope that we have brought them joy and cheer.
Distribution of Care Packs
Our company collaborated with Lions Befrienders Service Association to donate and distribute 100 care packs to 100 needy households in Blocks 45, 48 and 49 Stirling Road to bring cheer to needy families and the vulnerable elderly during Chinese New Year.
Our employees not only participated in the distribution but also donated some of the daily essential items to add-on to the care packs. These care packs bear a message of love, hope and care.
Our company will continuously participate in this worthwhile endeavor in giving back to society.
Waterway Clean Up @ Kallang Riverside Park
The Waterway Clean-Up collaborated with Mitsubishi Electric Asia Pte Ltd on Waterway Clean Up at
Kallang Riverside Park on 24 September 2022 provided employees the opportunity to be in direct contact with nature and to learn about the impact of litter on wildlife and the environment.
A total of about 40 cyclists and 40 kayakers took part in the event.
It was a good Saturday morning well-spent doing our part for the environment.
A Social Assistance Activity partnering with Singapore Red Cross Society
The COVID-19 pandemic has created much disruption and hardship among the migrant workers in Singapore. In line with “Corporate Responsibility to Society” which is one of “Three Principles” shared by Mitsubishi Group, we have partnered with Singapore Red Cross Society (SRC) to render help and assistance to the migrant workers community.
On 20 July 2020, our Managing Director Ms. Kaori Takahashi presented a donation to Mr. Benjamin William, Secretary-General / CEO of SRC. Ms. Takahashi also pitched in with our staff volunteers to pack essential items to be delivered to dormitories for the migrant workers.
Mitsubishi Elevator (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. recognizes the efforts and contribution of migrant workers in building our nation. Let us continue to care for the welfare of our migrant workers, stay united and we will overcome the challenge of COVID-19 together!
Chen Su Lan Methodist Children’s Home @ Katapult Trampoline Park
On 11 June 2019, our staff volunteers had a fun-filled morning with the youths of Chen Su Lan Methodist Children’s Home as a community engagement activity. The home provides shelter, care and protection to boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 21 years old from dysfunctional families in Singapore.
The youths had fun interacting with our staff volunteers over trampoline games and activities, and the visit was concluded with a halal lunch and goodie bags for the young participants. Both our volunteers and the youths enjoyed the event tremendously, and they look forward to opportunities for future interaction.
Beach Cleaning 2019 in collaboration with Mitsubishi Electric Asia
On 16 March 2019, close to 100 staff and family members gathered at Changi Beach for our annual beach cleaning. The staff had delicious breakfast croissants, followed by short speeches by Managing Director of Mitsubishi Electric Asia Pte. Ltd., Mr. Shinji Sasaki, and Managing Director of Mitsubishi Elevator (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., Ms. Kaori Takahashi. The participants then split into 2 groups to cover the areas of Changi Beach, picking up litter which would otherwise pollute the waters and harm marine life.
Through this event, we hoped to foster closer bonding and strengthening the harmonious relationship between family members. The younger generation also learnt how litter adversely affects the marine ecosystem. It was a good Saturday morning well-spent doing our part for the environment!
SARAH Senior Activity Centre @ River Safari
On 28 November 2018, our staff volunteers had a fun day accompanying the senior citizens of SARAH Senior Activity Centre to the River Safari. The group had the privilege of spotting the stars of the River Safari - Jia Jia and Kai Kai. After the river safari tour, we hosted the senior citizens for lunch at Kampong Café at Bukit Merah. We hope they have enjoyed our company and we look forward to visiting them again in the near future!
